The importance of Churches and mission adhering to a strong ethical framework in blogging and social media engagement, including such as:

I exhort you to sweep the earth with messages filled with righteousness and truth—messages that are authentic, edifying, and praiseworthy—and literally to sweep the earth as with a flood.” —Elder David A. Bednar

Many Churches and Mission Group are benefited by engaging in different Social Network just for example Blog a  digital platform where Church leaders can freely write their Biblical views and Christian Commentaries online. It’s  very important for the Church to maintain a strong etchical framework using different Social Networks, Churches must be Responsible to use the freedom of expression where it could not create a potential harm to people, for instance avoid using malicious words  or being exagerated in delivering messages in the context of Christianity it can be misinterpreted at the same time.Concern for Truth Churches are  defined as the most trusted institution in the world, bringing the true messages of GOD is mandatory task , unleasing each layer of identity in Christ by presenting his true  biblical messages in the form of different Social Network.Transparency it is important that Churches and mission brings clear ideas in a way audience could easily understand, where they could relate in every given topic or situation it must create a good connection in between.Citation plays an important role in writting and publishing but it can be a common mistake which can be subject into Plagiarism , it may lead to destroys individuals trust and identiny, Church leaders are not exempted by these emerging issues inside digital world see blog post written by Jonathan Merritt: Mark Driscoll accused by Plagiarim by radio host

“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s”. Exodus 20:17

Comparing the Design and usability of Blogs..

” The moment you launch a website you are a publisher. The moment you begin a blog, send an email, participate in social media, build a widget, even show up in a search engine result…you’re a publisher”

Kristina Halvorson/author.Content Strategy for the Webb

My friends loves to write a blogs and published it online, i have heard people advertise their blog on t.v or radio,in my curiuosity i look the definition of terms using “Wikepedia”  BLOG– is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first). Until 2009 blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject. More recently “multi-author blogs” (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of authors and professionally edited

It’s indeed a big challenge for the compare these two blogs since both of them represents their personalities and uniqueness, as a publisher of a blog i should consider not just the content but the strategy on how i will present my work online.

1.http://www.theeternalkenaz.blogspot.no/

The publisher of this blog used inappropriate designs and graphics, he used colours not appealing to the viewer as much i would like to read his article i was distracted..the publisher failed to have a usability, length and type of posts, multimodality, intergration with social media to sum up the author failed in creating a message of architecture.

The publisher brough a friendly approach on the design of her blog she used light colours, the statement speaks her personality as a viewer i got interested in reading her blog. She brings clear messages,as i reader i can give a good recommendation of this blog to my fellow friends such a good piece to read, viewers somehow connect to her stories and experiences in life.

Why should Churches or Mission agencies use social media?

Billions of People around the Globe are connected online every day, majority of them are engaged in different Social Media like Facebook, twitter, instragram, pinterest, youtube, these tools are now us for  communicating, interacting and fastest way to tract information online, Social media made a tremendous change on how we view life  in many different aspects and perspective.

I Believe Churches or Mission group should use the Social media not just only to promote the Church itself, but given the facts that it could help Churches to spread the gospel and let the name of Jesus Christ be known in the virtual world. It helps the Churches in meeting the target to reach a small or large group of audience using the internet.

I would like to give my insight by giving  points on how Churches could achieve these objectives using Social media:

Facebook: Leaders or any members of the use can create an account where information and any related Christian events are posted its like Facebook is the new bulletin by Scott Huntington it another way to start a new community inside the Church by creating a social group using facebook.

Twitter: It’s another way to exchange information  and ideas online in a Christian Context for example #ChristianConflictsinthemiddleeast bringing a certain topic on the internet where Christian Community can be involve by sending prayers and encouragements online.

Youtube -They were Millions of subscriptions are made in Youtube this can be use by the Pastor and Church leaders as another digital platform in conveying messages where they could post their sermon, counselling and other biblical teaching. I remember our local Pastor always keep his Youtube account updated where he upload his sermon after the service
